keyfact Horsham District

Horsham and the north of the district are within the Gatwick Diamond, which is a regional and national economic powerhouse. Coupled with high levels of educational attainment, employment and prosperity, we have a winning combination.

Local Partnerships

Coast To Capital

Coast to Capital is the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), a business led partnership, covering the areas of Lewes District, Brighton & Hove, West Sussex, The Gatwick Diamond and Croydon.  Established in 2010, Coast to Capital’s vision is to increase international trade and entrepreneurship within the area it represents.

Please see here a short video of Coast to Capital's Director Ron Crank talking to Horsham District Council.

Gatwick Diamond Initiative

The Gatwick Diamond Initiative is a business led private/public sector partnership aiming to take the economic performance of the Gatwick Diamond region from good to excellent.  Established in 2003, the GDI is one of the five area partnerships within the Coast to Capital LEP area.

If you are interested in jobs in the Gatwick Diamond area please visit the Gatwick Diamond's dedicated website: http://www.gatwickdiamondjobs.com/

West Sussex Rural Partnership
WSRP is one of the five area partnerships within the Coast to Capital LEP area, covering Rural West Sussex.  WSRP aims to bring together the key organisations that develop strategy and policy in West Sussex to ensure best use of resources to deliver projects and services in rural area’s of the County.  Action in Rural Sussex provides the secretariat and organises the meetings.

Rural Towns Forum
Representatives from each of the seven Market Towns Community Partnerships come together on a regular basis as a Rural Towns Forum to share ideas, discuss common issues and hear from guest speakers about how to build and maintain vibrant business-friendly communities.

You may like to contact some of the District’s Market Town’s Community Partnerships.  These are voluntary groups working to enhance the economy within their local communities.
