To all food and drink businesses of Horsham District, changes are coming to the Horsham District Food and Drink Festival. This year’s festival will see a move away from the large printed guide that has supported the Food and Drink Festival, held during September, and acted as a business directory. This guide has had a level of success but in order to keep the celebrations fresh and abreast of latest trends and interests, the festival will move towards food and drink experiences and will be promoted year round, as opposed to only during September. This year food and drink businesses will be invited to offer food and drink ‘experiences’ for the six month period from September 2019 to March 2020. This will be, in partnership with Taste West Sussex, and through our many digital mediums and partners, promoted across the District and more importantly further afield.
In September, the first period of food and drink ‘experiences’ will be promoted. If you are interested in getting involved, please complete the short form and supply details of the experience or experiences in the months from September to March. These ‘experiences’ might be an open farm event, harvest festival, special brewery or wine tasting tour, a foodie book signing, a themed dinner with local produce based menu or a music festival with local food on the menu (or local street food). The experience can be delivered by individual businesses, groups of businesses or even whole communities.
Please be aware that a calendar for the year will be produced specifying food and drink related events and celebrations and the Horsham District Foodies website will also promote these experiences and act as a directory for your business.
