An Index developed by Local Futures has attempted to do this by using Natural Environment Measures. This index uses four measures: Weather, Natural Beauty, Natural, Natural Environment; and Tranquility. The Horsham District scores above the average for Britain by all measures, except the ‘Natural Beauty’ measure. The district scores particularly strongly on the ‘Tranquility’ measure, with an index score of 398.

Gatwick Airport Launches New Flights to the Far East

Gatwick Airport has announced that Korean Air - the national carrier of South Korea - is to launch three weekly flights from Gatwick to Seoul beginning 29 April this year. The news comes hot on the heels of an announcement by Air China of the launch of non-stop, four weekly services to Beijing beginning 2 May 2012. Air China is the most profitable airline in the world, as well as the world’s largest carrier by market value. Both carriers will operate from Gatwick’s newly renovated North Terminal.
