Local Businesses Invited to Do Battle!

Monday 18 March 2013
Collyers Sixth Form College
6.30pm - 9.30pm

Businesses and organisations in the Horsham District are being invited to a Inter-Business Charity Table Tennis Competition at Collyers Sixth Form College on the evening of Monday 18 March.

Players of all ability and experience levels are welcome to participate in teams of two in a the 'ping pong ding dong' where the emphasis will be firmly on fun and enjoyment but with a competitive tinge!

The purpose of the event is to raise funds for Set4Success.org, the local charity which provides financial support to young, talented sportspeople in the area to help them achieve their dreams. Horsham Table Tennis Club will provide the volunteer expertise to organise it all.

Beginner level players will benefit from on hand support in aspects such as the basic rules of the game and bats will be available to borrow. Enthusiasm is the most important thing to bring and perhaps some new talent will be unearthed. It is expected that players with experience in the game will be challenged at their level too.

The event format will support the participative ethos as all teams will play the same amount of matches whether successful or not and after the first round players will feed into separate competition bands each with a trophy on offer.

Cost is £25 per team and the deadline for entries is Monday 11th March.

Further information is available from Ian Ford, Horsham District Council on Ian.ford@horsham.gov.uk or 01403-215634.
